K. Deniz Pireci was born in Istanbul, in 1963. She graduated Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramic Department of Marmara University, in 1983. In 2006 she got her master’s degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramic and Glass Department of Marmara University. Deniz Pireci, who has contributed over then 60 exhibitions and biennials in and out of country –7 of them personal – is now continunig her works in her own studio, in İstanbul. Some of the artists works are on display at Eczacibasi - VitrA Ceramic Art Studio, Korea Museum of WOCEF and other private collections.
