I have worked professionally as an actor in Theatre for young people, community theatre, TIE, Corporate/Business sector, TV and film for 28 years, and as a director, facilitator and lecturer for the last 20 years. I have an MA in uses of Drama in Education with my dissertation into using drama with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. I am a 0.5 lecturer in Theatre in Education at Derby Theatre with University of Derby and Co-Artistic Director of Tangere Arts, an arts in education company based in rural Derbyshire. I in addition to my acting training, was trained by Augusto Boal in Forum Theatre, Image Theatre and Rainbow of Desires, and have worked for over 5 years with Dr Dorothy Heathcote in uses of Mantel of the Expert.
