The Virtual Museum of Architecture will present a new exhibition: Wood Architecure.
The exhibition includes models, photographs and plans of 20 buildings which are designed and constructed by students of Aalto
University, Engineering Department Faculty of Architecture Wood Program in Finland's capital Helsinki. The Exhibition is also being exhibited at The Building Information Center until 1st of April 2011.
The idea behind the Wood Program which has started in 1994 at Aalto University is learning how to construct wooden buildings in practice and create a future oriented wood architecture. The students of the program has designed and constructed 20 buildings in 15 years within Wood Program.
