Events by the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency on culture-arts, cultural heritage, urban implementations and urban culture keep on embracing Istanbul residents.

This week in the Agenda of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture:

Istanbul Art Biennial of Children and Youth
The “Istanbul Art Biennial of Children and Youth” is realized between 25 November and 25 December within the scope of the project "2010 in Schools" by Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency's Education Directorate in venues Sanat Limanı (Warehouse/Antrepo #5 ), Haydarpaşa Train Station, Tuzla İdris Güllüce Cultural Center. The Biennial is open to participation from 2500 schools and their students from Beyoğlu to Tuzla, from Kadıköy to Sultanbeyli.


Countdown has stared for the “Istanbul Art Biennial of Children and Youth” that is realized by Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency's Education Directorate for the first time this year. Biennial participants will produce their artworks on the concept "I am changing, are you aware?"

‘Architect Sinan welcomes Palladio in Istanbul’
In order to compare Mimar Sinan's identity, approach and works with his contemporary architects, "Architect Sinan Meets Palladio in Istanbul" exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the Centro Internazionale di Studi di Architettura Andrea Palladio by Mimar Sinan Research Centre in Mimar Sinan University, Tophane-i Amire Cultural Center between 29 November – 31 December. Models, photographs and drawings of Andrea Palladio’s works will take place in the exhibition.
