6th European Landscape Biennial, Barcelona: register online now

As part of the event, the 6th Rosa Barba European Landscape Award will be conferred by the Association of Architects of Catalonia (COAC), the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Master's Program in Landscape Architecture and the Association of Friends of the UPC), and the Architecture and Landscape Division of the Generalitat of Catalonia on the best landscape project created in Europe between 2005 and 2009.
Nine projects have been selected by the jury from among the 427 submitted, and will be discussed, graded and exhibited at the conference.
The finalist projects are as follows:
Nansen Park (Bjørbekk & Lindheim, Fornebu, Oslo), Playa Ponente Promenade (Office of Architecture, Barcelona), Lambarri (Xavier Martí, Benidorm, Spain), Recreational Area (Bureau Alle Hosper, Heerhugowaard, Netherlands), Langedijk Cemetery (Karres en Brands landschapsarchitecten, Zuid Scharwoude, Langedijk, Netherlands), Can Framis Museum Garden (BAAS + EMF, Jordi Badia, Martí Franch, Barcelona, Spain), Copenhagen Business School Campus (Marianne Levinsen Landskab MDL PLR, Frederiksberg, Denmark), Regeneration of the Port's Public Space (Mayslits Kassif Architects, Tel Aviv, Israel), Silves Castle Hillside (Estudos e Projectos de Arquitectura Paisajista, Silves, Portugal), Urban Park in the Perelló area (Ruisànchez Architects, Girona, Spain)
