The inhabitants of Chisinau, Moldavia, have taken an integral part in a project on the cartography of the town "CHIOSC", initiated by the Association of Young Plastic Artists of Moldova "Oberliht", in collaboration with AREA Chicago, the Art and Politics magazine of Chicago. In the framework of a Seminar organized from 9 - 19 May last, the inhabitants were invited by the organizers to express their opinions on the availability of the public space of their town and on the manner in which they perceived it, in order to create a cartography of Chisinau.
This plan of the town will be integrated into the collection of town plans entitled "Notes for a People’s Atlas of Public Space in Chisinau".
