Europe from the bottom-up? How can local actions benefit from international connections?
On 29 January 2010, together with partners from 13 European cities, City Mine(d) launched a European initiative with the goal of changing the way cities are governed and the economy is organised. The organisations aim to achieve this through creative and positive actions in the public space. Their work ranges from architecture and urban planning to cinema, squatting, action research, publishing and debate. They believe that change in cities takes place at the local as well as the international level. In 2010, the organisations want to find ways in which their local actions can benefit from being connected on an international level.
