The International Design Alliance (IDA) has opened the call for interest for the second biennial IDA Congress to be held in 2013.
The congress will be a platform to unite the diversity of voices in the international design community under the IDA banner.

The benefits of hosting an IDA Congress include profile building events that attract the leaders in global design, global media coverage, lucrative sponsor relationship building, investment in the host local area and a long-lasting relationship with the networks of the IDA Partner organisations.

The IDA Congress will be distinguished from other design events as a catalyst for change, affecting global initiatives to improve sustainable conditions for human society and culture, achieving the IDA's goal "to do together what cannot be done alone."

The deadline for proposal submissions is 12 February 2010.
