Between 7th and 13th of December 2009, Kinodvor in Ljubljana will be the main venue of the sixth edition of the International Animated Film Festival Animateka. You will be able to see about 400 animated films, including 6 feature animated films. The programme will vary, including 3 art exhibitions and 2 audio-visual concerts.
In addition to traditional Competition programme of short animated films from Central and Eastern Europe, we will offer children's programme The Elephant in Competition and programme Best of the Rest. This year Animateka will pay special attention to retrospective of stop-motion animation as well as to Finnish animated film. This year's novelty in festival programme will also be European Student Panorama.
