The new e-zine and network Citizensofculture.net which reflects the third aspect of the culture and arts scene focuses mainly on cultural issues such as cultural policies, cultural management, development, cooperation, networking etc. at European level, whereas Artacademia.net focuses on the subjects related to culture and arts education and research, Artcitizens.net on subjects related to contemporary arts and design production and events. This newsletter will present you the content of Citizensofculture.net.

A Soul for Europe regards culture as an essential component for the full development of Europe’s potentials. This mission complies thoroughly with the ambitions of Citizensofculture.net which aim to connect cultural actors on a European level in order to strengthen the power of civil society.

Just to remind you, the aim of these three interconnected e-zines is to create a new medium for arts and culture in Europe, that is strong, open, free, independent, wide reaching and inter-sectoral. Target groups of Citizensofculture.net are cultural organizations and institutions, individual culture professionals involved in cultural development and networking in Europe such as European Cultural networks, Cultural Contact Points, European Capitals of Culture… The content is uploaded from all over Europe mainly in English, but also in other languages.
