[LABORATUAR]
PERFORMANCE ARTS RESEARCH AND PROJECT LAB
• is a collaborative project ensemble, focusing on visual and performing arts;
• aims at producing on- and off-stage experimental performance work, perpetually questioning the definition of “dance” and “theatre”, along with these disciplines’ boundaries and their accepted means of creation;
• basically feeds upon theory, methodology, tools, technique and material from contemporary dance, physical theatre, performance art, architecture, film & video, design and literature, along with post-structuralist theory and the possibilities provided by “new media” technologies.
[laboratuar] consists not of positions but people; favors a non-hierarchical structure and an open system in terms of operation; consists of a resident core group, [corpus], and collaborates with partners on a project basis.
