The exhibition will be shown from 4th September 2009 until 8th November 2009 in Berlin on the occasion of the 20 years of friendship of Berlin/Istanbul.

In fall 2009 Berlin - Istanbul Twin City 20th year Jubilee will be celebrated in Berlin.
Diyalog in cooperation with the Kulturamt Neukölln and the Friedrich Ebert foundation are celebrating the 20th year of this initiative with the opening of the exhibition Sultans Nose at the gallery im Saalbau on September 4.
The exhibition can be see from September 4 – November 8 in Berlin.

The exhibition was seen before at the instance of the Festival "Türkei im Augenblick - Aspekte der Alltagskultur" in cooperation with the Bundesministeriums für Unterricht, Kunst und Kultur in Vienna.

Diyalog was realizing this exhibition in Vienna in co-operation with the Austrian Bundesministeriums für Unterricht, Kunst und Kultur and Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts and with a support of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Republic of Turkey.

In 2008 the exhibition was seen at the Museum of World Cultures in Frankfurt. Diyalog was initiating the exhibition in co-operation with the Museum of World Cultures Frankfurt and the Friedrich-Eber Foundation Turkey. The exhibition was part of the official supporting programme “Turkey in All Its Colours” that was representing Turkey as the honourable member of the Book Fair in 2008 in all its variety.

On the occasion of the book fair in Frankfurt the book Die Nase des Sultans (Sultans Nose) was published by the publisher of the Bilgi University and the Dagyeli publishing house in Berlin.

The book is published in German and Turkish. The book presents 46 artists with 349 images and 5 essays, published by Sabine Küper-Büsch and Nigar Rona.
