For the last 20 years, Banlieues d'Europe has been bringing together committed projects in artistic demarches with the inhabitants of working-class neighbourhoods in Europe.

In the framework of its 20th anniversary, Banlieues d'Europe organize a professional meeting devoted to the topic "WORKING CLASS NEIGHBOURHOODS, CREATIVE NEIGHBOURHOODS IN EUROPE" Banlieues d’Europe invites Europe in Lyon and offers the opportunity to spend three days to discover, and to exchange views about, participation-based cultural and artistic projects carried out with the local inhabitants and which have been created in areas that are often overlooked for this type of project in France, as well as Northern Ireland, England, Germany, Italy, Rumania, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Spain…

The programme will be comprised of three stages, held in a friendly atmosphere, and full of artistic surprises :

- a meeting amongst practitioners : plenary sessions and simultaneous workshops, "café-culturel"

- a European forum of cultural and artistic projects (exchange platform)

- an exceptional artistic programme with Dance, Theatre, Sneak-preview and an Artistic evening with brass band
