Which are the consequences and opportunities for local authorities?

This first meeting of the year will deal with a topic that concerns all of us. The speakers, specialists in cultural policies from all over Europe, will assess the situation (impacts of the crisis, financing…), and analyze the perspectives in order to provide the participants – elected leaders and profesionnals – with the tools and arguments to defend their initiatives in the cultural field. Thus the meeting aims to facilitate the debate and provide constructive and relevant answers to crisis.

The Steering Committee meeting of the association will take place on the 5th of March. We will present our projects for the year 2010, our perspectives for 2011, as well as the White Paper on the cultural policies of local and regional authorities. Your participation is necessary for it is a unique opportunity for you to implement joint projects together and re(affirm) your attachment to the setting up of a real cultural Europe.
