International Theatre Lab (ITL) is a Norway-based production and research organization run by theatre professionals. Founded on the principle that an actor’s craft is a continuous learning curve, ITL arranges mobile and residential workshops, lectures and master classes, produces innovative performances and forges exchanges with theatre companies and institutions around the world. It also houses a Theatre Research and Production Centre which provides a safe environment for original and dynamic exploration. Actors, dancers, performers and other artists are invited to create and discover new forms, languages and methods, keeping alive the tradition and legacy of theatre as laboratory.
